Comment: | Childminders generally work in their own homes, looking after children. If they look after children under the age of eight, they must by law be registered. Registered Childminders are regularly inspected by OFSTED, and they will have had a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check done. Also, any other adults living in their household will have been CRB checked.
Many Childminders will take to and collect from schools, playgroups, etc.
They are self-employed, so you and they will have to negotiate and agree a contract.
