The Pathway Employment Service supports disabled people, mainly those with learning difficulties, to find paid work. They offer vocational counselling, help with job seeking, application forms, support at interviews and on the job training when a person starts work. The service is currently available in the following areas in the south west: South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and Hereford and Worcester.
The scheme is only available in Gloucestershire by direct payment - contact Mencap Pathway direct for information.
Mencap Pathway also facilitate a cleaning company, 'A Clean Sweep', currently operating in the Bristol area and hopefully extending to South Gloucestershire.
