Comment: | The Transport Service is a voluntary car service for residents of Wotton-under-Edge and the surrounding villages to visit hospitals, day centres, etc. Fares charged are at the rate of 30p per mile travelled (minimum fare £2.50). The Transport Service also offers a shopping service on Friday mornings, whereby older people - from an address within the thirty miles an hour speed limit of Wotton - can be taken to the local shops and returned home after shopping for a fixed fee of £1.00.
