Comment: | A local, friendly Club of about forty members, meeting fortnightly at the lounge at Jenner Court, 2:30 to 3:45pm, on Tuesdays; tea is provided, together with Speakers, Bingo, Raffles etc. Monthly Outings are arranged during the Summer, which take place on a Wednesday, leaving in the morning and returning about 8:00pm. Any person is interested on joining one of these monthly outings is more than welcome as the club are always looking for people to make up the numbers. Members raise funds to help with fares and expenses. Whist drives and various sales are held. |
