Comment:

Every Citizens Advice Bureau in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is an independent charity, and also belongs to Citizens Advice, the national charity which sets standards for advice and equal opportunities and supports bureaux with an information system, training and other services. Citizens Advice also co-ordinates social policy, media, publicity and parliamentary work and maintains an information and advice website at www.adviceguide.org.uk. Free, confidential advice is available to everyone from nearly three thousand locations, as well as the website. The Citizens Advice Service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice and influencing policy-makers.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, there is a Volunteer Hotline on 08451-264264 (local rate calls, Monday to Friday) for more details on volunteering with your local CAB.
