Comment: | Canine Partners is a charity providing trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities to help them in the tasks of every day life, thus giving them a greater measure of independence. The dogs are trained to react to commands such as fetching and carrying, retrieving dropped items, helping with clothing, opening and closing doors, curtains etc, and much more. Potential partners are required to attend a residential training course prior to receiving their dog. |
