Care and Repair (Stroud) give advice and practical help on all aspects of house repair, improvement or adaptation. They also give advice on the best way to finance work. They regularly liaise with Stroud District Council, Social Services, Benefits Agency and Charitable Trusts. Leaflets are available giving information about the service.
Additional services include gardening, security work, energy advice and small equipment such as grabrails. The Office is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
They also offer a floating support service for older people and older people with mental health problems in the Stroud area, through the Supporting People programme.
