This is a self help organisation and campaigning group concerned with all matters relating to blind people. It aims to bring about an overall improvement in the standard of life for visually impaired people through pressure on statutory and voluntary agencies, and to promote their full integration into the community. NFB Campaigns for better employment opportunities, a more generous disability allowance, a safer environment, and the integration of visually impaired children in ordinary schools. There are branches throughout the UK. Quarterly magazine - Viewpoint, and a quarterly tape magazine, Fedtalk.
