Comment: | This is a Regional Office of Opportunities for People with Disabilities, a nationaly registered charity that specialises in helping people with all types of disability to find jobs. It also provides a service to employers which includes advice on the employment of disabled people as well as guidance on sources of special aids and adaptations. The organisation spends time with the employers and clients to identify specific requirements of both parties, so that job seekers can be matched to jobs successfully. All services are free of charge to the disabled and employers.
As an Approved Provider to Jobcentre Plus, they provide the following services: New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) Job Broker; WORKSTEP employment support; Work Preparation Programme - personal development advice and / or work experience. |
