Comment: | The Centre provides a place where anyone wishing to do voluntary work may come for advice and activities. It aims to answer care needs of people from within the local community and to initiate new voluntary projects as required. The Centre is staffed from 9:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday. The services offered include a voluntary car service (see separate record), shopping (for people who are housebound), advice and information, a sitting service to offer respite to carers and a visiting service (see separate record).
