Comment: | Mr. Gannon runs a wheelchair accessible vehicle on a private hire basis to transport disabled people who need to use a vehicle with wheelchair fixing points (ie for people who cannot transfer out of their wheelchair). He is registered with Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Borough Councils, and fully insured to provide a private hire service. The service is exclusively for wheelchair users; however, up to three friends / relatives / carers can accompany the wheelchair user. Pre-booking is essential, as there are regular clients. The service is not available on Sundays.
Mr. Gannon calls his transport service WAVE, and it is available in the Tewkesbury and Cheltenham areas. |
