Comment: | Highfields is a residential home with twenty seven registered beds. It is a member of the Gloucestershire Care Homes Association, which is dedicated to bringing about and keeping high standards in residential care. The Home is resident rather than staff orientated. Staff receive inhouse and ongoing training to ensure that standards are maintained. All the usual facilities are available and a close liaison is kept with the town school and churches. A bathing service is also offered to older people in the community. Two day places are available, Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings at a nominal fee. There is short and long term accomodation for holiday and respite care. |
