Comment: | Ellerslie House, run by the Orders of St John Care Trust, is dual registered with twenty four nursing and five residential beds, mostly in single rooms. There are day care facilities for those in the nearby community. Facilities include two TV lounges, plus a lounge without TV, with a regular activities programme, including handicrafts. Residents can choose to retain their own GP and a dentist, chiropodist and hairdresser visit regularly. Ecumenical and communion services are held and there is a Residents' Committee.
There is a Day Centre which is open four days a week where social activities and general socialising take place.
