The Advisory Centre for Education (ACE) is an independent national advice centre for parents of children in state school. It runs telephone advice lines, produces publications and offers training on all aspects of school matters including education law. It has particular expertise on special needs including the new code of practice and has an extensive publications list and information sheets for parents, school governors and schools. ACE is also provides training and materials to help local voluntary organisations provide advice for parents.
