Comment: | Tewkesbury Nursing Home is a purpose built home is set in large gardens on the outskirts of Tewkesbury, offering residential and nursing care. All accommodation on the ground floor. Single and double bedrooms available, many with en-suite toilets. Each room is decorated to a high standard. There is an occupational therapy room, library, conservatories, dining room, large lounges and two therapy baths for residents use. Regular social events are arranged and a hairdresser visits every week.
Tewkesbury Nursing Home also offers day care to older or disabled people. Day Care is available seven days per week, by arrangement, between 9:00am and 7:00pm. The facilities are suited to providing individually planned day care. A typical plan might incorporate use of the therapy bath, an opportunity to visit the hairdresser, and participation in diversional therapy with residents. There is a choice of menu for all meals. The hours are are flexible and mutually agreed with each applicant.
The home is well staffed and covered by Registered Nurses at all times. All staff are committed to planning individual care and maintaining residents well-being with respect and dignity. |
