This is a Nursing Home registered for sixty nine beds which provides care for people over the age of sixty five with nursing needs. Included in the registration at St. Faith's are forty beds registered for care of people with dementia and one bed for under age sixty five. In a dedicated area of the Home is the Ralph Marx Centre, a Day Facility specifically for people with dementia residing in the community. Respite Care is offerred in two dedicated respite rooms. Accommodation in these rooms may be booked in advance. Further information and a brochure may be obtained by contacting St. Faith's direct. Residents are encouraged to make St. Faith's 'their' home and bring personal furniture and effects. Accommodation is in single en-suite rooms. Specific requests for double rooms may be possible from time to time. St. Faith's has a full time activity programme with individual and group activities, visits to places of interest and outings in the mini-bus which is specially adapted for wheelchairs and the less able. There is also a multi-sensory room which is particularly stimulating for those with dementia.
