Comment: | There are three Community Mental Health Teams working under the Service Manager. The North and Central teams are based at 18 Denmark Road, Gloucester, and the South Team are based at 136 Stroud Road, Gloucester. They provide the link between primary health and secondary services. Each Community Psychiatric Nurse is linked to two or three GP practices, and undertake assessment and ongoing treatment of mental health problems for the adult population of their GP practices. The three teams, North, South and Central serve Gloucester City. Each team offers specialist medical, nursing, occupational therapy, social work or psychological therapy care and treatment to people with serious mental health illnesses. |
