Comment:

The Advisory Teaching Service consists of a team of specialist teachers for the deaf, visually impaired and language impaired. They offer advice and support to children who have been identified as having a significant hearing loss, visual difficulties that cannot be corrected by glasses or surgery or a specific language impairment. The team works closely with the family, school and professionals. They aim to enable all children to gain full access to the National Curriculum and integrate socially with their peers.
