Comment:

Action for Kids is a charity that provides disabled children and young people with equipment which enables them to have independent movement. This equipment ranges from Trikes to specially powered wheelchairs. Equipment is loaned to beneficiaries and all maintenance costs are paid for by Action for Kids. When the person needs change, the equipment is then returned to Action for Kids where it is reconditioned and a new seat fitted. Once equipment is no longer required, a multi-user seat is fitted and the chair is given to a special needs school. This service is provided nationally for equipment not funded or available on the NHS. The Charity also offers work-related training projects, mainly in the London area.
