Comment: | Abbeyfield Very Sheltered Houses are for those who are lonely and no longer able to or wish to cater and house-keep for themselves. At Abbeyfield Stow-on-the-Wold there is accommodation for eight residents. Two cooked meals a day are provided, and the house-keeper is available at most times. Residents furnish their own rooms, and there are ensuite bathrooms available. This is a non profit making national charity, and each house is independently run. The houses have all bell pull alarm systems and access to Careline.. |
