Comment: | Lifeline provides practical help to Anyone facing an un-planned pregnancy, abortion, miscarriage, etc. e.g. baby clothes, prams, buggies, cots etc. - but not cash. They provide telephone counselling - for clients living at a distance Counsellors will call clients back if the cost of the call is a problem. Professional, non-directional counselling is provided to women with unplanned pregnancies. Post abortion counselling can also be given as well as counsellingfor cot death and other problems related to reproduction.
Lifeline is a charitable organisation. Donations are essential to maintain the service.
Lifeline gives clients time, space and a safe environment in which they can talk over their problems (some of which may be long-standing) before reaching a decision. Only a first name is asked for, and long-term, in depth counselling is available if necessary.
