New deal for Lone Parents can help you find a job or suitable training that will bring your skills up to date. It is available to all lone parents who are not working, or working less than sixteen hours a week. If you agree to take part your Personal Advisor will:
+ help you through the steps of applying for and finding a job which will be right for you;
+ explain what benefits are available to you when you move into work;
+ help you identify training opportunities;
+ help you find registered childcare;
+ help you with expenses to attend meetings, job interviews, or training they arrange for you, including fares and registered childcare;
+ continue to offer help and advice after you've found a job.
New deal for Lone Parents is about taking that important step towards a more secure future for you and your children.
