Comment: | Situated in the centre of the Forest of Dean, adjacent to the way marked Cycle Trail of 10 miles. Pedalabikeaway provide a range of modest cycles for the less adventurous casual cycling encounter on safe traffic free hard stoned forest tracks or the Cycle Trail. There is a comprehensive range of bicycles to suit everyone, adult trail bikes, tandems, children's bikes, carriers, trailers as well as equipment for people with special needs. All equipment is well maintained and replaced regularly. All bicycles are provided with simple tool kits and helmets at no extra charge. There are showers, toilets and a small cafe, and a workshop and cycle spares shop.
The opening hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm (November to March) and 9:00am to 6:00pm (April to October). They open every day during school holidays, but close on Mondays at other times. Prices are charged at an hourly rate, with a maximum amount for full day hire, contact the centre for further details and conditions.
Group bookings are essential to guarantee places and Pedalabikeaway can be open at other times by arrangement. The bikes for special needs are available to be hired and bought. |
