Comment: | Vitalise runs five holiday centres for people with severe physical disabilities and their carers. The centres are in Southport, Nottingham, Chigwell, Churchtown (in Bodmin - see separate record) and Southampton. Care, entertainment and outings are arranged, as well as special interest weeks. All inclusive holidays are available from February to December - prices vary; phone or see brochure for details. Phone for copy of the brochure. Guests are cared for by full time nursing staff and volunteers are always on hand. Trained staff and volunteers can also help guests enjoy a holiday on their own as twenty four hour assistance can be provided. Vitalise also runs holidays for visually impaired people. |
