Organisation:Voluntary Braille Transcribers Group

Comment:

The Voluntary Transcribers' Group works from their homes, all over Great Britain, transcribing to braille. Some of them use Perkins braillers, but most of the work is done on PC's and embossed at their Birmingham HQ. They can produce braille from print, diskette and the internet. They can usually cope with a few simple diagrams. They can provide double or single-sided braille, on either A4 or 'standard' paper, and they use plastic comb binding for anything bigger than a few sheets.
