Comment:

The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) is a registered charity which aims to prevent the loss of sight from glaucoma throughout the world. Membership is worldwide and open to patients and interested professionals. The Association sends booklets free of charge to people with glaucoma to aid understanding and will reply with general factual advice to all enquiries (SAE appreciated). The IGA also supports considerable research into glaucoma and its treatment.
The IGA arranges four meetings around the UK each year, and publishes a quarterly newsletter. In addition, it co-ordinates a network of regional support groups run by volunteers.
