Comment:

United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council (UKDPC) serves as a national umbrella organisation made up of national, regional and local groups and organisations run and controlled by disabled people. Its aims are to co-ordinate views of members through Conferences and Seminars. Newly formed organisations are fully supported and will be offered advice if necessary. The British Council of Disabled People will put you in touch with a local group, who may be able to provide a speaker on disability related issues to any organisation, and they are campaigning to raise the issue of disability to one of Civil Rights.
