Organisation:BA - Passenger Medical Clearance Unit

Comment:

People flying with British Airways who have disabilities, should be able to make special arrangements when necessary at the time of booking. Passengers with recent medical problems should contact this office to establish whether medical clearance to travel is required. As a guide, medical clearance would be required when fitness to travel is in doubt, as evidenced by recent illness, hospitalisation, injury, surgery or instability or when special services are required ie oxygen, stretcher, authority to carry accompanying medical equipment.
