The British Stammering Association (BSA) is a national organisation for children and adults who stammer, run by people who stammer. They can put people in touch with NHS and private speech and language therapists in their locality, they send out free information packs, and offer information about local self-help groups.
There is a members' postal lending library, and the BSA also publishes a quarterly magazine and supports research projects..
