Comment:

Allergy UK is the operational name for the British Allergy Foundation, whose aim is to improve the awareness, prevention and treatment of allergy - all types of allergy. Their aims are to produce and circulate leaflets about all types of allergy, what causes them, their signs and effects and how to treat them - to circulate material to professionals and patients - to understand how to prevent allergy developing in children - to identify substances that causes allergy and to find out why twenty first century living makes allergy an even more widespread problem. A nationwide Members' Support Group Network provides a valuable source of assistance for people with allergy. Groups hold regular meetings, at which invited speakers keep members up to date and give practical advice.
