| Organisation: | Grant Aid for Voluntary and Community Groups |
Comment: | Gloucestershire County Council supports over two hundred voluntary groups and organisations to provide much-needed services in the community such as local lunch clubs for older people, Citizens Advice Bureaux and youth groups - to name but a few.
Grant aid is available via annual application process (some three year agreements are also made) to organisations supporting the work of the County Council in the following areas:
+ Social Services;
+ Pre-school education;
+ Youth and Community;
+ Community transport;
+ Arts;
+ Economic and Community wellbeing.
Grant Aid for Voluntary and Community Groups is available to any constituted organisations operating within Gloucestershire. |
