The Sports Injuries Service at Capio Winfield Hospital is run by Dr. Rod Jaques, a Sports Injuries Specialist who is one of the five official Medical Officers for the British Olympic Team. He is supported by a team of Chartered Physiotherapists in a well equipped Physiotherapy Department with Hydrotherapy (off site), Isokinetic equipment, Gym, individual treatment rooms, TLO1 Booth - Ultraviolet treatment for skin conditions, Continence Service, Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates and Back School.
Dr. Jaques has appointments available on Tuesday and Thursday, and the Physiotherapy Department offers appointments between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday and also on Saturday mornings.
Initially the injury will be assessed followed by prompt and professional treatment. Advice will also be given regarding training, equipment and the timing of your return to sport to ensure that you get back as soon as possible.
