Comment:

Riding for the Disabled (RDA) promotes the setting up of supportive groups, to arrange riding at local stables for children and adults with physical or learning disabilities. Riding horses and ponies stimulates muscles, balance, self-confidence and general well-being. Riding and horse care are taught to the best of the client's ability. Tests and games are also organised. This gives mobility and a sense of speed and excitement to people unable to walk or run. There are seventeen groups throughout Gloucestershire. Carriage Driving also available with some RDA Groups.
