The Gloucestershire County Association for the Blind (GCAB) is a registered charity which aims to improve the quality of life for visually impaired people in Gloucestershire. They offer:
+ a Visiting Service providing help, advice and specialised equipment ;
+ a Hospital Information service based at four local hospitals;
+ a Resource Centre at the Cheltenham premises, displaying a wide range of specially adapted equipment which can be purchased or tested out (open 9:00am to 1:00pm weekdays);
+ grants to Blind Clubs around the county;
+ a Brailling service;
+ a regular Newsletter;
+ specially adapted training courses and courses for newly registered visually impaired people.
