Lions Club International is the largest service club organisation in the world. There are approximately forty three thousand Lions Clubs in one hundred and eighty six countries, with a worldwide membership of almost one and a half million. Their principle aim is to provide help or funds for those in need. From the many varied activities organised by individual Lions Clubs they are able to raise fund to donate to worthy causes. Lions Club also arrange social events, outings and holidays for older people and people with disabilities.
