Comment: | Highbury Day Centre is one of Social Servides' Community Resources which aims to support older people to live in the community and keep their independence. Clients have to be referred through a GP our via a Social Worker (initially through the Social Services Helpdesk) - an assessment of need must be made before a place can be offered. The Centre staff aim to offer social, therapeutic and rehabilitative activities to meet the needs of the individual clients. The Centre is open Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Refreshments and lunch are served during the day.
