The Forest of Dean Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) offers free, impartial and confidential advice in a variety of areas including legal matters, consumer problems, and employment. The aim is to ensure that individuals are aware of their rights and responsibilities. CAB is able to offer a Money Advice Debt Counselling Service.
Opening hours are Tuesday 10:00am to 12:30pm and Friday 2:00 to 4:00pm for drop-ins, and 1:00 to 3:30pm for appointments.
Appointments for Specialist Advice are by referral only.
There are also offices in Cinderford and Lydney, and an outreach service (see separate records).
From 3rd. July 2007, each Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm there will be an advisor available to give advice over the phone.
