The Forest of Dean Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) offers free, impartial and confidential advice in a variety of areas, including legal matters, consumer problems and employment. The aim is to ensure that individuals are aware of their rights and responsibilities. CAB is able to offer a Money Advice Debt Counselling Service. Initial interviews are held at normal sessions but thereafter appointments may be made with the specialist involved.
Office hours are Monday 2:00 to 4:30pm (drop-in), Thursday 10:00am to 12:30pm (drop-in) and Thursday 1:00 to 3:30pm (appointments only).
Forest of Dean Citizens Advice Bureau also operates in Coleford and Lydney (see separate records) and runs an outreach service at other locations (see separate record for Outreach Services).
From 3rd. July 2007, each Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00noon and 1:00pm to 3:00pm there will be an advisor available to give advice over the phone.
