Comment:

The Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, independent and confidential advice in the following areas: legal matters, consumer problems, debt, personal and family affairs, neighbour dispute mediation, housing, welfare benefits and others (they offer specialist advice / representation in debt, benefits and employment). Their aim is to ensure that individuals do not suffer through ignorance of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available, or through an inability to express their needs effectively.
There are numerous outreach services (see separate records for the main ones). For details of the others, phone 01242-522491, or visit the CAB website, where they are listed.
