Organisation:RADAR - Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation

Comment:

Formed in 1977 as the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation, RADAR is a national organisation run by and working for disabled people. They have a membership of around six hundred disability organisations and individuals. They represent their members by fast-tracking their opinions and concerns to policy-makers and legislators in Westminster and Whitehall, and by launching campaigns to promote equality for all disabled people.
Although they work with organisations of all types, RADAR is itself an organisation of disabled people. Constitutionally, the majority of the governing board of trustees must be disabled people.
The countrywide list of toilets fitted with the RADAR National Key Scheme lock is available online as part of the website www.directenquiries.com
