Organisation:Wyatt House

Comment:

Wyatt House is a Nursing Home with thirty beds available for older people who are diagnosed with Alzheimers or other forms of dementia. It is managed by the Orders of St. John Care Trust. Wyatt House commands scenic views across the Stroud Valleys and is unusual in design, in that it is circular in construction with all rooms leading off from a central corridor. The lower level of Wyatt House has a new five bedded unit, The Garden Wing, for four higher dependency residents plus one respite bed, contracted to the Community and Adult Care Directorate. Other facilities include chiropody, handicrafts and socials.

Wyatt House also runs a Day Centre which can cater for sixteen clients Monday to Friday - see separate record.
