A wide range of information is available, including support services and organisations (both national and local to Gloucestershire), benefits and funding, carers support, illnesses conditions, treatments, patients rights, transport and mobility, residential care, local NHS and social services, complementary and private healthcare and lots, lots more. Each enquiry is dealt with carefully and promptly, and the service is completely FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

GUiDE also provides information to many other organisations in Gloucestershire and to NHSDirect. Established in 1991, GUIDE is jointly funded by Gloucestershire NHS and Social Services.
GUiDE merged with Community PALS on 1st. of November 2006, under the new name of GUiDE and PALS.
