Comment: | Resthaven is dually registered for residential, high dependancy and nursing. Single bedrooms all have double glazing, radiator and washbasin. There is a large sitting room, quiet room, and two sun lounges. The dining room is pleasant and the food is good and varied. Special diets are catered for at Resthaven. Day respite can be offered.
Resthaven is a charity funded in 1938 as a home of healing. They still encourage a vegetarian way of life, and also alternative therapies.
Resthaven has its own chapel and the local minister conducts Holy Communion services twice monthly.
