The Northern Concord is a social and self help group for Cross-dressers, Transvestites, Transsexuals and their wives or partners. The Group is based in Manchester (where they have meetings every Wednesday at the Hollywood Showbar in Bloom Street) but their five hundred members plus members come from all over the UK. and around the world. The aims of the Northern Concord are to be a self help and social group for cross dressers and people who consider themselves to be transsexuals.
Northern Concordproduce a magazine - "Cross Talk" - which is included in the membership fee. Copies can be purchased ( £4.00 in the UK, £5.50 in Europe and £6.00 in the USA and Australia / New Zealand, which includes postage and packaging). The latest issue is available, as well as most back issues - even to non-members.
The comprehensive website contains a wealth of information, including a list of local groups, events throughout Europe, and legal issues.
