PCaSO is a Prostate Cancer Support Group. It is run by its members and the services offered are for men, their families and those affected by Prostate Cancer. PCaSOs aims are to improve the diagnosis, treatment, care and support to those troubled by this Cancer. The diagnosis of any cancer can be the most traumatic experience for anyone. At diagnosis, prostate cancer patients may also face a bewildering number of treatment options- probably far more than any other cancer.
One of the prime objectives of PCaSO is to help patients and families at any stage of their cancer journey.
The objectives of PCaSO are to:
+ help and support those who have concerns about Prostate Cancer;
+ relieve the distress of men with Prostate Cancer and those affected by Prostate Cancer;
+ advance education and information about Prostate Cancer to persons vulnerable to or with Prostate Cancer, their partners, families, friends and to the public at large;
+ help promote better services for patients and possible patients of Prostate Cancer.
