Comment:

The Medical Assessment Programme (MAP) is open to all present and former servicemen or MOD civilians who served in the Gulf at any time between August 1990 and July 1991 (Op. Merrick) The programme has recently been extended to offer mental health examination for all veterans with operational service since 1982 (including veterans of the Falklands conflict).
