(Special Needs Agency Partnership) Childcare is a recruitment agency that places specialist nannies and carers for babies, children and young adults who have additional needs (and their siblings!). They offer a nationwide service, providing live-in, daily, permanent, and temporary nannies, carers and enablers for a range of special needs from a mild learning disability to profound and multiple disabilities.
Because they only deal with special needs placements, all the nannies and carers specifically wish to work in this area. Applicants have a wide range of experience, including Makaton and British Sign language, Conductive Education, speech, occupational, speech and physio therapy and tube feeding, suctioning and oxygen administration.
All nannies and carers are carefully vetted. At least two references are verbally verified and an Enhanced Police Check is required (SNAP! Childcare is a Registered Body with the Criminal Records Bureau and CSCI).
They provide nannies for families in difficult situations such bereavements and marriage break-downs, and now also act as a service provider, working with social services departments in the London boroughs. |
