Organisation:Radiotherapy Action Group Exposure (UK)

Comment:

Radiotherapy Action Group Exposure (RAGE) is a self-supporting, voluntary group of women, and a few men, most of whom are suffering severe and permanent injury as a result of Radiotherapy treatment following Breast Cancer. Many members have, as a result of their Radiotherapy treatment, lost the use of a hand and arm on the treated side. For some this has meant the loss of their master hand, and most are in constant severe pain. All RAGE work is undertaken by committee members in their own homes, primarily because the nature of their injuries does not allow them to work for any sustained length of time.
RAGE is a campaign and support organisation, and it provides a self-help telephone support line, newsletter and campaigning.
