Comment: | The Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK (CSTA) provides information about craniosacral therapy to members of the public. The CSTA publishes a register of qualified practitioners which is updated regularly. Members are guaranteed to be qualified from an accredited school, have been at least one year in supervision, have professional indemnity insurance (UK practitioners) and to be continuously involved in further postgraduate training.
Full membership of the Association is open to anyone who has successfully completed accredited courses in Craniosacral Therapy. It exists to provide support for practitioners of Craniosacral Therapy, through a network of supervision groups, a professional journal, the dissemination of information on courses, and continuous monitoring of standards and ethics.
The CSTA has a comprehensive code of ethics and standards document to which all practitioners are required to adhere as well as a procedure for accreditation for schools of CST who are not as yet accredited to the CSTA. |
