The Royal Pharmaceutical Society Benevolent Fund runs two helplines:

Listening Friends are a group of volunteer pharmacists specifically trained in listening skills, who offer confidential help to pharmacists who are under stress and their immediate family. The service can help with professional problems, business worries, family problems, illness or bereavement.
The phone number for Listening Friends is: 020-7572-2442.

The Pharmacists Health Support Programme offers advice and support to pharmacists who have alcohol and / or other drug related problems, and to their families. The helpline is confidential and callers are not required to disclose their name initially.
The Substance Abuse Helpline number is: 01327-264531.
